Мysterious founder of Bitcoin,Satoshi Nakamoto, now ranks as the11th richest person in the world, with the value of his cryptocurrencies exceeding$130 billion.

According to data fromArkham Intelligence, the value of Bitcoins in wallets believed to belong to Nakamoto has surpassed that ofMicrosoft founder Bill Gates ($117 billion) andDell Technologies founder Michael Dell ($126.5 billion), as the price of BTC increased by14 percent in the past month.

Calculated at the current price of Bitcoin at$118,912, Nakamoto`s wealth puts him just$12 billion behindBerkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett, who is known for his critical stance against Bitcoin. According toForbes, Buffett`s net worth is$141 billion. If Bitcoin rises by about8 percent to$128,650, Satoshi will surpass Buffett.

In a statement from2022, Buffett referred to Bitcoin as “rat poison” and stated that he wouldn`t buy all the Bitcoins, even for$25. Since then, Bitcoin`s value has increased by204%.

While the exact amount of Bitcoin owned by Satoshi Nakamoto remains unknown, a commonly accepted analysis known as the“Patoshi Pattern” suggests that Satoshi mined approximately22,000 blocks. This analysis indicates that Nakamoto may possess around1.1 million BTC. The estimate of1.09 million BTC by Arkham Intelligence aligns with this analysis.

Satoshi`s true identity remains a mystery. AnHBO documentary released last fall proposed that Bitcoin Core developerPeter Todd might be Satoshi, but Todd and many viewers dismissed this theory. Early Bitcoin contributorsAdam Back andHal Finney have also been mentioned, but both have denied these claims. Tech giants likeElon Musk have also been speculated to be Satoshi, but his identity remains uncertain.
